Jaselle Martino is a highly accomplished Trinidadian-born executive producer and director with a strong track record of creating engaging narrative, branded, and documentary content for over nine years. Her experience spans various networks and platforms, including HBO, Disney/ABC Television, PBS, and Hulu, among others. She has founded her own production company, Chaconia Pictures that focuses on content that challenges the narrative of storytelling in the media.

Her breakthrough feature, Abdo and Saneya, a silent, black and white film that follows the journey of an Egyptian couple coming to New York in hopes of finding a cure for their infertility, will premiere fall 2024.  As an lead producer on the film, she worked alongside world-renowned production company Film Clinic, French composer Alexandre Azaria, and executive music producer Jerome Lateur (The Artist).


Jaselle’s short films include: Don’t Go Far (premiered at Cannes Film Festival 2018 with the Saudi Film Commission delegation), Take Me Home (Toronto Short Film Fest 2017), and Bike Tales (Dubai International Film Fest 2015).  She recently produced the Disney+ 10-episode docu-series Growing Up.  Jaselle also line-produced the hybrid docu-series The Hair Tales for Own/Hulu/Onyx (executive produced by Tracee Ellis Ross and Oprah Winfrey).   Other projects include Thank You For Your Service (NBC Digital), and Working Homeless (LA Times) with producing partner Kacey Cherry.
